Production jobs are the core of SimpleMOM, representing manufacturing orders that transform raw materials into finished products.

Core Fields

Job States

Jobs progress through defined states:

Creating Jobs

Manual Creation

1. Navigate to Production Jobs
2. Click Add Job
3. Enter:
   • Work number (unique identifier)
   • Product to manufacture
   • Target quantity
   • Delivery date
4. Add required materials
5. Save the job

From ERP

Jobs can be imported from Lemonsoft ERP:

• Work orders sync automatically
• Bill of materials populate as raw materials
• Batch information links to supplier lots

Managing Materials

Adding Materials

For each raw material required:

1. In the job details, click Add Material
2. Select the material product
3. Enter quantity needed
4. Save

Track material collection status:

Job Progress

Tracking Completion

The completion percentage shows:

Completed % = (Manufactured Quantity / Target Quantity) × 100

Jobs can be partially completed:

• Manufacture a portion of the target
• Continue manufacturing later
• Track progress over time

Partial Manufacturing

For large jobs:

1. Pick materials for a batch
2. Manufacture that batch
3. Repeat until complete

Editing Jobs

Modifying Details

While a job is pending:

1. Open the job details
2. Edit fields as needed
3. Save changes

Adding More Materials

Materials can be added to pending jobs:

1. Open job details
2. Navigate to materials section
3. Add additional materials
4. Save

Deleting Jobs

Jobs can only be deleted if:

• No materials have been picked
• No manufacturing has occurred
• Job is in pending state

To delete:

1. Open the job
2. Click Delete
3. Confirm deletion

Quick Search

Search jobs by:

• Work number
• Product code
• Product name

Best Practices

Job Planning

• Create jobs in advance of delivery dates
• Verify material availability before creating
• Group related products for efficiency

Work Numbers

• Use consistent numbering schemes
• Include date or sequence information
• Match ERP work order numbers when applicable
