SimplePrint supports both thermal roll printers and standard sheet printers with configurable layouts for various label formats.

Thermal Roll Printers

Landscape Mode

For labels wider than tall:

  1. Enable landscape orientation
  2. Template rotates 90°

  2. Define label width per label
  3. System arranges horizontally
  4. Efficient media usage

Margin Calculation

Ensure labels fit the sheet:

Page Width = Left Margin + (Labels × Width) + (Gaps × (Labels-1)) + Right Margin

Setting Dimensions

  1. Enter label width in mm
  2. Enter label height in mm
  3. System calculates printable area

  • Test alignment on actual stock
  • Consider die-cut vs continuous

Resolution

SimplePrint generates PDF at print quality:

  • Standard: 300 DPI
  • Barcodes: Vector-based for sharpness
  • Text: Vector for clarity
